Karloff's Frankenstein

I drew this is a blank Hallmark card for my High School Art teacher.  I am putting it in the mail today.  I hope she likes it.  I have tried to express to her what an influence she had on me in HS, even though I haven't become a professional artist yet, I still draw upon the experiences I had in her class to this day.

Thanks Mrs. Phila McDaniel, Art teacher @ Gardena HS, Los Angeles

Tusken Raider Thursday

Today is Tusken Raider Thursday! I was really happy with the way this one came out.  My first attempt at a Tusken Raider.  Mostly Faber pens, but I used some Copics in the end, we will have to see what the next one looks like all Copic...

Sketchcard - Jawa

Sketchcard -  Jawa
I love these lil guys!  This is one of my first full color sketchcards.  Interesting way to draw...you know, with color.  LOL  (My friends will know why)  I used Copic and faber markers, but I think in the future I will be sticking to the Copics.  There is a real difference in the them.  The Copics are a lot smoother and have a much richer color.  Anyway, let me know what you think!

Fanart - Sheldon Comics

I drew todays sketch after reading some old comics from Dave Kellett's SHELDON, Dante is the best friend of the main character Sheldon, and in addition to being a artist, he dresses up as STICKMAN when they play heroes.  So this is my attempt at Stickman.  If you want to start on a great comic Sheldon is AWESOME at being Awesome.

Ken Elvistrooper Tarleton - Fan art

A sketch of one of my favorate comic con regulars.  Ken Elvistrooper Tarleton.  He is way too cool for me to be drawing, but I dig this pose and wanted to draw it.  Pen and ink in my brown paper sketchbook.

Stormtrooper Sketchyness

Stormtrooper sketch that I actually inked.  I wanted to try out my white pen and this seemed to be a great one to try it on.

October is for Scariness!

This is done with pan and ink, some red ink for the blood.  I found some blank Hallmark cards that say "Yooo Hooo" (with a small Owl) on the front.  Open them up and a nice large drawing surface.  I thought this would be good for an October drawing.
